oil, serigraphy, paper, canvas, hardboard, 88.2 x 123 cm
This work demonstrates Fischer’s approach to intermedia. It combines several artistic techniques and materials: oil painting, serigraphy, canvas and paper. The narrative basis of the visual “collage” is formed by scenes from the paintings of Hieronymus Bosch, combined with abstract and geometric elements. The entire surface is integrated by a linear structural map evoking some kind of energy force lines. The painting reflects the boundary that Fischer’s work often straddles – the line between narration and abstraction, between rationality and spontaneity.
