Edition: limited edition of 89 copies on Japanese (pink) paper, of which: the copy numbered I contains three original dry points on absorbent pure cotton paper, a unique set in black on Japanese handmade paper, a set on Japanese pearl paper coloured by the artist, original collage, manuscript and signed copperplates; 5 copies numbered 2–6 include three dry points on absorbent pure cotton paper, a set on Japanese pearl paper hand-coloured by the artist and an original collage; 9 copies numbered 7–15 include three dry points on absorbent pure cotton paper and a set on Japanese mother-of-pearl paper hand-coloured by the artist; 54 copies numbered 16–69 include three dry points on absorbent pure cotton paper and 20 copies marked A to T reserved for the artist and the author. Nine hundred copies are without graphic appendices
Printing of this original edition on absorbent pure cotton paper and in a cassette designed by Toyen was completed on 30 September 1967 in Paris by typographers Marthe Fequet and Pierre Baudier The three dry points were printed by the typographer Georges Leblanc in Paris
