The exhibition One Day in the Life of the Czech Republic consists of footage from all regions, including social and cultural stratification. By being presented in Ostrava, the exhibition reaches not only the city’s inhabitants but also, due to Ostrava’s central role, the residents and visitors of the Moravian-Silesian Region, including foreigners. After the Czech exhibition, subtitled A Pictorial Chronicle of Everyday Life in the Czech Republic, One Day will be presented at various venues abroad (in cooperation with the Czech Centres of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and will represent the Moravian-Silesian Region there as well, showcasing high artistic quality in an engaging form.
