The book is a richly pictorial and documentary equipped historical-art work and, in fact, a non-traditional pictorial monograph by three authors. The rich pictorial material (almost five hundred photographs and reproductions of Boštík's works) is a rare source, as the vast majority of them are published in books for the first time.
