Jiří Kovanda

Jiří Kovanda is the most internationally known contemporary Czech artist, whose work has not yet been reflected in a more comprehensive publication. The only exception is the Jiří Kovanda catalog, 2007–1976. Events and installations, transit, Prague 2006, edited by Vít Havránek. The book was originally conceived as a catalog for the exhibition, which took place in Klatovy in 2008. After a significant time lag from the exhibition, the character of the publication shifted from the exhibition catalog more towards the author's catalog.
